Experience Relief Amidst Too Much

A somatic approach to feeling better, even when life is messy and hard.

Have you noticed how trying to make yourself feel better can sometimes cause you to feel even worse? More stressed, anxious, or irritable.

What if you could experience more ease, even amidst the pileup of too much? In this course, you’ll learn a gentle way to be with those uncomfortable feelings, so they can shift naturally and you can feel better.

No pushing. No forcing. And definitely no fixing.

In this introductory series, you’ll learn simple, practical skills to help you …

Have your feelings without getting swept up in them or weighed down by them

Be with those relentless inner critics, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence

Savor pleasant moments, so you can feel more relaxed and refreshed—without having to push the uncomfortable stuff away

You don't have to wait for life to get better to start feeling better.

Those uncomfortable feelings we often label as “negative” are there for a reason. They’re valuable! They help us recognize what matters, what’s missing, and when something doesn’t feel right.

When we try to push those feelings away or dim them down, we risk missing out on valuable information—information that can actually help us live more fully and authentically.

In this course, you’ll learn how to be with your feelings, so you can experience more clarity and get some relief. Even when the situation itself hasn’t changed.

And the best part? This is a gentle, body-oriented process that actually feels good! You can begin experiencing these shifts in class.

Course Structure …

  • All registered participants will receive access to our private course platform, where you can engage in discussions, access audio recordings of each class, and download handouts and presentation slides.

The creation of this course is rooted in my training as both a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) and Certified Inner Relationship Focusing Professional & Trainer.

No prior experience with SE and IRF is required. All that’s needed is curiosity — an openness to noticing your experience just as it is.

Somatic Experiencing®  is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and stress disorders developed by Peter A Levine, PhD.

Inner Relationship Focusing is an experiential, body-oriented process of self-awareness and emotional healing developed by Ann Weiser Cornell and Barbara McGavin.

As a result of my SE training, I bring a unique trauma-informed approach to teaching Inner Relationship Focusing courses.
